Description

There are rings made to be noticed, and rings made to be remembered. This is the latter. Set in sterling silver, the piece rises to a height of fifteen millimetres, giving it the confident presence of a statement cocktail ring rather than a quiet everyday band. At its heart sits a generously cut turquoise cabochon, its colour carrying the particular blue-green calm of Persian-influenced Indian jewellery traditions. Ringing the stone, cubic zirconia catches the light with disciplined sparkle, arranged in a close border that recalls the meenakari-adjacent sensibility of Rajasthani silver work, where a central coloured stone is framed and celebrated rather than overshadowed.
