Description

There is a quiet confidence in copper that gold cannot always claim. Worked into a broad, low-profile bangle that sits just 0.4 inches (approximately 1 cm) tall and spans an outer diameter of 2.6 to 2.85 inches (6.6 to 7.2 cm, depending on the size you choose), this pair carries the warmth of a tradition that predates preciousness. Copper has long been the chosen metal of folk and devotional jewellery across Rajasthan and the Deccan, valued for its honest colour and its willingness to hold stone. Here, coloured stones are set across the surface in close formation, catching light with a deliberate, unshowy glitter. The openable hinge closure is the mark of considered making: no forcing, no scratching, simply a clean clasp that opens and shuts with intention. Each bangle weighs approximately 32 grams, the pair together a reassuring 64 grams on the wrist. Wear both bangles stacked together at a weekday lunch in a handloom cotton kurta, where their burnished surface reads as effortless. For a festive mehendi or sangeet, let them sit alone on a bare wrist against a silk lehenga blouse, where the copper and stone contrast does all the speaking. Two sizes are available, 2.15-inch and 2.25-inch inner diameter, to suit a range of wrists. The openable design makes fitting straightforward and daily wear comfortable, with no sharp edges to catch on fabric.
