Description

There are courts that never fell, and their grammar lives on in brass. Rajasthan's princely imagination condensed two of its most beloved symbols into a single bangle: the elephant, patient carrier of ceremony, and the peacock, emblem of monsoon and majesty. Carved in relief across the outer face of this broad cuff, the two motifs alternate in a procession that feels lifted from a zenana frieze. Studded stones punctuate the design with flashes of colour, recalling the inlay sensibility of Jaipur's stone-setting tradition without demanding precious metal to make its point. The brass itself is worked to a warm, antiqued depth, the kind of finish that improves as it acquires the patina of wear. A screw-openable mechanism at the side keeps the silhouette clean and uninterrupted, with no visible hinge to break the circular narrative. The bangle stands one inch (2.5 cm) tall and weighs a considered 100 grams, presence you will feel on the wrist. Wear it with a handloom tissue silk for a Diwali gathering, where the brass catches candlelight as readily as gold. For diaspora occasions, it pairs with a structured cotton kurta and block-printed dupatta, anchoring a contemporary silhouette in something genuinely rooted. Two sizes are offered: 2.15 inch inner diameter (5.5 cm) and 2.25 inch inner diameter (5.7 cm), with a corresponding outer diameter of 2.6 cm and 2.75 cm respectively. The screw closure allows the bangle to slip on easily over any wrist, making daily wear entirely practical.
