Description

There are bangles that whisper, and there are bangles that speak in colour. This openable bangle is set in warm gold-toned brass, its broad cuff silhouette spanning a generous width of two-point-one inches (approximately 5.3 cm). Across its surface, multicolour stones are studded in a close, considered arrangement, the kind of decorative density that recalls the jewellers of Jaipur who have long understood how to make colour sing against gold. The stones, rendered in what appear to be rich jewel tones, sit flush within their settings, giving the piece a finished, almost enamel-like quality without losing the tactile warmth of metal beneath. The gold tone is even and burnished, neither brash nor pale, and the openable hinge closure is what makes this bangle genuinely wearable rather than merely admirable. It weighs eleven grams, substantial enough to feel present on the wrist without imposing. Wear it with a tissue silk kurta and pearl studs for a festive lunch that does not require a full bridal vocabulary. It pairs equally well with a cotton handloom saree for a cultural evening, where one statement piece does quiet, confident work. The inner diameter of one-point-seven inches (approximately 4.3 cm) suits a standard to slightly slender wrist, and the hinged opening means no forcing or measuring against rigid bangles. Brass holds its gold tone well with minimal care; a soft, dry cloth after wear is all it asks.
