Description

There is something quietly architectural about a bangle that refuses to curve. These brass bangles carry their geometry with conviction: clean angular panels, each one set with stones in a close-studded formation that catches light without demanding it. The repeat motif reads as a distillation of the decorative vocabulary found in Rajasthani metalwork, where craftsmen in Jaipur and Bikaner have long understood that a strong geometric frame, rather than floral excess, can hold the eye just as firmly. The brass itself has been worked to a warm, burnished tone, the stone settings pressed flush into each facet so the surface remains orderly and tactile at once. An openable hinge at the side allows the bangle to sit close to the wrist without the usual wrestle of a rigid circle. Sold as a pair, together they weigh sixty-three grams, a presence that is felt but not burdensome. Wear them with a handwoven cotton sari in an earthy ochre or rust, and the brass reads as an extension of the fabric's warmth. They are equally composed alongside a structured silk kurta at a daytime festivity, where their angular silhouette adds intention without noise. Available in sizes 2.2 and 2.4, the openable clasp makes sizing forgiving across both. The hinge mechanism is neat and secure, sitting flush when closed. These are bangles suited to daily wear as much as occasion dressing, requiring only a soft cloth to maintain their lustre.
