Description

There are flowers that bloom once in a season, and there are flowers that bloom forever in brass. Two floral medallions anchor this openable bangle, their petals rendered in close stone studding that catches light the way a garden does at noon. The silhouette is architectural rather than delicate: broad, cuff-like, with a hinged openable closure that speaks to the practical elegance long favoured in Rajasthani folk jewellery. Brass, the ancient metal of temple offerings and festival adornment, grounds the piece with a warm, burnished undertone. The stones are set flush within their floral frames, creating a surface that feels almost embroidered, reminiscent of the relief work seen in Bikaner's craft ateliers, where metal and stone are treated as a continuous textile. At sixteen grams, it carries real presence without weight. For a festive afternoon, pair it with a printed chanderi kurta in ivory or rust; the bangle's warmth will pull the colours together. For a more contemporary evening, it sits beautifully against the clean sleeve of a linen blazer, where its ornate face becomes an act of quiet confidence. The bangle measures approximately 3.8 centimetres in height, 5.6 centimetres in width and 4.3 centimetres in length, sized to sit mid-wrist with authority. The hinged opening means no forcing over the knuckle. Brass is light on the skin and develops a gentle patina over time, rewarding those who wear it often.
