This pair of openable bangles is worked in copper, a metal long favoured by artisans across Rajasthan and Bengal for its receptiveness to tooling and its deep, reddish warmth. The broad cuff silhouette, standing 0.85 inches (2.16 cm) tall with an outer diameter of 2.7 inches (6.86 cm), commands the wrist without crowding it. Set across the surface, stones catch light in the manner of polki-influenced flat setting, each held close to the metal in a manner that keeps the composition orderly and unhurried.
