Description
There are prayers that are worn, not spoken. Ganesha appears here in his Chaturbhuj form, his four arms carrying the symbols of blessing and beginning, set against a ground of deep red Kundan-work that glows like a temple lamp at dusk. The setting follows the classic Kundan discipline: foiled glass stones pressed into a raised brass framework, each one held by hand-burnished metal rather than prongs, a technique that traces its lineage to the ateliers of Rajasthan. Brass, long favoured for devotional jewellery on account of its warm, gold-adjacent lustre, gives the pair their satisfying weight of eighty-nine grams across the set, and their open circular silhouette is finished in a gilt tone that deepens the richness of the red stones. No clasp interrupts the form; the bangle slips on whole, its contour unbroken. A pair of ivory or off-white silk kurta sets allows the red Kundan to read with full clarity, while a deep green or indigo Banarasi sari gives the gilt brass something richer to argue with. Both pairings suit a puja morning, a festive gathering, or any occasion where dressing carries intention. Available in sizes 2.4, 2.6 and 2.8, the pair offers a generous range for most wrists. The brass construction is sturdy for daily devotional wear, requiring only a soft, dry cloth to maintain its lustre and to keep the Kundan stones bright.
