Description

There are days that ask to be remembered, and a bride deserves jewellery that remembers them too. This eight-piece bridal parure draws on the Kundan tradition as practised across Rajasthan's gilded ateliers, where flat-foiled stones are pressed into polished metal beds and held without prongs, relying instead on the karigar's pressure and precision. The brass base, finished in warm gold tone, carries that same quiet confidence. Kundan-set stones in your choice of mint or pink occupy every principal surface, from the wide choker, which spans five inches (12.7 cm) across the collarbone, to the long 24-inch (61 cm) necklace that trails toward the waist. A pendant measuring 3.2 by 2.7 inches (8.1 by 6.9 cm) anchors the layering. Dangling pearls soften each edge, catching light with every movement. The matha patti, nath, mang tika, hathphool and earrings complete a silhouette that leaves nothing unconsidered. Together the set weighs 530 grams, a presence that is felt as much as seen. Wear the full set with a Benarasi silk lehenga in ivory or deep red for a wedding ceremony. For a mehendi or sangeet, pair the choker and hathphool alone over a mirror-worked chikankari kurta. Each piece fastens with an adjustable dori, making fit inclusive across wrists, necks and brow lines without alteration. The brass construction resists bending under the set's generous weight, and the finish is suited to extended wear through a full day of celebration.
