Description

Brass remembers every gilded century it has outlasted. This set speaks in the vocabulary of temple adornment: broad, commanding, and rooted in the southern ceremonial tradition. The necklace stretches a generous 8.5 inches (21.6 cm) across, its face rising 1.45 inches (3.7 cm), constructed in burnished brass worked into layered floral and deity-inspired motifs that recall the votive jewellery of Nagercoil and the devotional craftsmanship once reserved for processional goddesses. Stones in deep reds and greens are set into bezel-held cavities, their colour catching the antique gold finish of the brass ground. The earrings, at 2.25 inches (5.7 cm) tall and 0.8 inches (2 cm) wide, carry the same architectural language downward. The maang tikka, a slender 6 inches (15.2 cm) in drop, completes the composition with quiet authority. At 152 grams, the full set has real, purposeful weight. Wear this with a raw silk Kanjivaram in deep ivory or a dark wine Banarasi for a classical evening. It sits equally well over a mirror-worked lehenga for a sangeet, where the brass catches candlelight and holds it. The necklace fastens with an adjustable dori, which lets you set the fall precisely across the collarbone or sternum without alteration. All three pieces are free-sized and intended for confident, comfortable all-day wear at weddings, festivals, or cultural performances.
