Description

There is a particular quality of light that belongs only to water, and to the stones that learn from it. This necklace-and-earrings set draws from the vocabulary of Rajasthani bazaar craft, where brass is treated not as a lesser metal but as a warm, yielding ground for colour. Faceted zircon stones, set in close formation across the necklace's broad front panel, catch and scatter light the way Meenakari surfaces do, with deliberate generosity. Teardrop stone drops fall from the earrings in the manner of traditional Jhumka-adjacent forms, elongating the line of the jaw. The set is offered in blue, green and pink, each colour shifting the mood entirely: blue reads as court-cool and formal, green carries the vegetable richness of uncut emerald traditions, pink softens the whole into something festive and approachable. The brass base carries a warm antique finish, lending the piece a convincing weight and patina. Wear the blue with a midnight-toned tissue silk saree for a winter wedding reception. The pink sits beautifully against the ivory and gold of a Banarasi for a daytime puja or family celebration. The necklace measures approximately 28 cm in length and fastens with an adjustable dori, sitting comfortably at the collarbone.
