Description

The lion has always spoken of sovereignty, and here it speaks in brass. Forged from brass and finished to a warm, burnished tone, this set draws on a decorative tradition that runs deep through north Indian and Rajput craft. The necklace descends in a confident V-shape, its front pendant dropping a full ten inches (25.4 cm) in a cascade of structured metalwork centred on paired lion motifs, creatures long associated with regal authority and protective power in temple and court jewellery alike. The earrings, measuring 2.4 inches (6.1 cm) in height and 0.9 inches (2.3 cm) in width, echo the same leonine vocabulary in miniature. At 126 grams across both pieces, the set carries a pleasing, substantial presence. The necklace extends to 20.5 inches (52 cm) on its adjustable chain, sitting well across the collarbone and upper chest.
