Description

There are silences in stone that speak louder than ornament. Tiger eye has long held a particular reverence in Indian craft traditions, prized for its shifting, catoptric lustre, that warm oscillation between amber, honey and deep sienna that jewellers call chatoyancy. Here, the stone is set into sterling silver in a bracelet that draws on the quiet confidence of tribal and artisan silverwork, a lineage alive in the workshops of Rajasthan and the eastern highlands alike. The silver itself carries weight, literally so: at 25.21 grams, this is a piece you feel on the wrist, not merely wear. The setting holds each tiger eye cabochon in close embrace, letting the stone's natural banding read without interruption. The finish is cool and burnished, the kind that deepens rather than dazzles. It wears beautifully against a cream or ivory kurta for a daytime gathering, where the amber warmth of the stone does the work of colour. For evening, pair it with a silk or chanderi ensemble in forest green or rust; the silver and stone together become their own conversation. At a standard eight inches (approximately 20.32 centimetres) in free size, it sits comfortably on most wrists without pinching. The sterling silver construction means it is robust enough for daily wear, resisting the ordinary knocks of a full day, while the weight and craftsmanship ensure it never reads as casual.
