Description

Colour that belongs to the sky just before it forgets the sun. Tanzanite is among the rarest of coloured gemstones, found only in the foothills of Kilimanjaro, and here each certified natural stone is set in a continuous prong-and-claw line along a sterling silver backbone. The setting is the classic tennis silhouette: stone after stone, unbroken, so the bracelet reads as a single ribbon of violet-blue light at the wrist. Sterling silver is the right metal for tanzanite. Its cool, bright finish neither competes with nor warms the stone's trichroic depth, allowing the gem to shift between blue, violet and burgundy as light moves across it. The bracelet weighs a considered eleven grams, substantial enough to feel deliberate on the wrist without ever feeling heavy. Each stone carries independent certification, confirming natural origin. Wear this against a pale ivory silk kurta for a formal evening, where it carries the room without jewellery above the elbow. It is equally at home against the cuff of a fitted white linen shirt at a gallery opening or a winter wedding lunch where restraint is its own authority. The bracelet measures seven and a half inches in length (approximately nineteen centimetres), fitting most wrists comfortably at a single free size. The secure box clasp means it fastens and unfastens without assistance. Sterling silver responds well to a soft cloth; occasional gentle cleaning keeps the bright finish true over years of regular wearing.
