Description

There is a certain quality of light that only cut glass can hold, and this set has learned its secret. Inspired by the grand tradition of silver-based bridal adornment that flourished in Rajasthani and northern ateliers long before diamonds were a bride's monopoly, this necklace is composed of teardrop-shaped American diamonds set in a close-packed formation that mimics the density and drama of Polki work without the weight of precious metal. The stones are laid in a rhodium-toned base, each faceted drop catching and scattering light in the manner of a chandelier seen through silk. Three colourways are offered: a cool, uncompromising white; a rose-flushed pink; and a deep sea green whose depth recalls the Meenakari enamels of Jaipur. Every piece in the set, necklace, earrings, and maang tikka, shares this same visual grammar of suspended teardrops, creating coherence across the full bridal frame. Wear the white or pink colourway over an ivory or blush silk lehenga for a winter wedding; choose the sea green against a deep burgundy or forest-green Banarasi saree for a reception evening when the lights are low and the stones need only candlelight to perform. The necklace measures approximately 7.75 cm in height by 14.6 cm in width and sits on an adjustable dori for ease of fit. Earrings extend 8.89 cm in height; the maang tikka runs 13.97 cm in length. The full set weighs 230 g, substantial enough to feel purposeful, light enough to carry through a long ceremony.
