This hasli set is worked entirely in sterling silver, its rigid choker form following the gentle arc of the collarbone before descending into a front pendant section that falls six and a half inches (approximately 16.5 cm) from the base of the neck. The floral motifs are raised and stone-studded, each blossom set with semi-precious stones in the manner of jewellers from Rajasthan, where silversmiths have long understood that a coloured stone and an oxidised silver ground speak to one another in a language older than any hallmark.
