Woven cloth becomes jewellery, and Odisha speaks. Sambalpuri fabric is among eastern India's most protected textile traditions, its ikat-woven cotton or silk panels shaped by resist-dyeing before a single thread is stretched on the loom. Here, a piece of that handloom cloth is mounted on an MDF base and studded with small stones to form a necklace set that is architectural rather than precious, rooted in regional craft pride rather than metal-working lineage. The necklace panel measures roughly fifteen inches in total length with an adjustable chain, and the front pendant section extends to approximately six-point-two inches (fifteen-point-seven centimetres), giving it real presence across the collarbone. Matching earrings, each one-point-five inches by one-point-five inches (three-point-eight by three-point-eight centimetres), echo the same stone-studded textile surface. The entire set weighs a gentle nineteen grams, so the drama is visual rather than physical.
