Description

There are textiles that remember the loom long after they leave it. Sambalpuri fabric carries that memory in every thread. Woven in the Sambalpur region of Odisha using the resist-dyeing tradition known as bandha, this handloom cloth is prized for its geometric and floral ikat patterns, where the motif is set into the yarn before weaving begins. Here, a bold floral design cut from that fabric is mounted on a lightweight MDF base, giving each petal and bloom a clean, structured silhouette. Small stones are set across the surface, catching light against the woven weave in a way that feels artisanal rather than ornate. The necklace runs to seventeen inches including its adjustable chain, with a front pendant section of eight point eight inches (approximately 22.4 cm) that drapes generously across the collarbone. The earrings measure one point four inches (approximately 3.6 cm) in height and zero point nine inches (approximately 2.3 cm) in width. The entire set weighs just twenty-six grams.
