Description

There are earrings that ask nothing of you, and then there are earrings that quietly ask everything to step aside. These stone-studded brass earrings carry the unhurried grammar of antique jewellery from the ateliers of Rajasthan, where artisans have long pressed coloured stones into oxidised metal to conjure the feeling of something inherited rather than purchased. The brass base is worked and finished in two moods: a deep, burnished antique tone that reads like aged silver in candlelight, and a warmer golden finish that catches afternoon sun with an almost Kundan-like gleam. Stones are set close to the surface in the traditional closed-back manner, their colour held firm by fine metal borders, the overall silhouette suggesting the layered geometry beloved of Bikaner craftspeople. No enamel, no gilding over precious metal, simply honest brass shaped with patience and intention. Wear the antique-finish pair with an ivory chanderi kurta and raw silk trousers for a winter wedding lunch, or choose the golden version alongside a rust Banarasi sari for an evening of real formality without effort. Both colourways are offered in a free-size fit suited to standard ear piercings. The brass construction keeps the earrings light enough for extended wear across a long occasion, and the antique and golden finishes are sealed to resist tarnish with routine care. A velvet pouch and gentle storage away from humidity will keep them honest for years.
