Description

There is a quiet confidence in a jewel that borrows its palette from a garden. Set in warm-toned brass worked in the tradition of Rajasthani costume jewellery, these stone-studded earrings carry the spirit of polychrome craft without demanding precious metal. The stones are set snugly into the brass frame, their colour the primary language: a deep botanical green in one variant, a soft powder pink in the other. Both recall the meenakari sensibility of Jaipur's bazaars, where colour and metal are understood as equals. The silhouette is compact and considered, measuring approximately one inch in height (roughly 2.5 cm), which places the drop just at the lobe rather than sweeping past the jaw. This restraint is deliberate. The brass ground, worked and polished, gives the piece a honey-warm undertone that keeps the stones from reading as costume and anchors them closer to heirloom. Wear the green pair with a raw silk kurta in ivory or mustard at a mehendi or daytime puja; wear the pink against a sheer tissue dupatta for a summer wedding reception where lightness is the correct register. Either colour reads equally well with gold-toned traditional wear or against contemporary handloom separates. The free-size fitting is designed for a standard pierced lobe with no adjustment needed. Brass, properly sealed and stored away from moisture, holds its finish well. These earrings are light enough for extended wear across a full celebration day without fatigue.
