Description

There is a certain stillness that only stone and brass can hold together. This choker and earrings set belongs to the tradition of bazuband-and-rani-haar cousins that once dressed the courts of Rajasthan, translated here into a wearable, close-to-throat silhouette. The choker sits approximately 1.8 cm tall and 14 cm wide, its surface set with stones arranged in a repeating floral or geometric formation typical of Jaipur's workshop aesthetic, where brass is worked into gold-toned bases and studded by hand. The matching drop earrings, measuring roughly 2.8 cm in height and 1.3 cm in width, carry the same stone-studded vocabulary in miniature. The brass itself is finished to a warm, burnished tone, and the full set weighs 78 grams, giving it a satisfying presence without burden. An adjustable chain at the nape ensures the choker rests with precision, not guesswork.
