Description

There are silhouettes that hold their shape the way a good thought holds its meaning. The Stone and Spiral Open Bracelet is worked in sterling silver, its open cuff form tracing a quiet confidence around the wrist. The spiral motif at the centre is a detail with deep roots: coiled forms appear in tribal silver traditions across Rajasthan and the hill-craft ateliers of the Northeast, where silver wire was shaped by hand into forms that carried cosmological weight. Here the spiral anchors a single cabochon stone, set in a simple bezel that lets the gem breathe. The bracelet weighs 8.2 grams, measuring 2.25 inches (approximately 5.7 cm) in height and 2 inches (approximately 5 cm) in width, a proportion that sits low and substantial on the wrist without overwhelming it. It is offered in eight stones: amethyst, labradorite, lapis lazuli, malachite, moonstone, quartz, tiger eye and turquoise, each bringing its own depth of colour against the cool lustre of silver. Wear it against a block-printed cotton kurta on an unhurried afternoon, letting the stone carry all the colour. Or slide it over the wrist with a silk blouse at an evening gathering where understated craft speaks louder than ornament. The free-size open cuff adjusts gently to most wrists. Sterling silver develops a soft patina with wear; a light buff with a clean cloth restores its original finish with ease.
