There are silhouettes that carry the memory of ancient trade routes, and this one is among them. Persian turquoise, prized for its sky-to-sea depth of colour, has been set alongside warm coral in a sterling silver frame that draws unmistakably from the jewellery traditions of Rajasthan, where silversmiths have long mediated between Mughal refinement and the bold geometry of the steppe. The earrings measure 2.5 inches (approximately 6.4 cm) in height and 1.4 inches (approximately 3.6 cm) in width, the elongated drop silhouette cascading through what appears to be a layered, fringed or chandelier-style form.
