Worked in sterling silver, these earrings carry the unhurried honesty of a craft tradition that has long found its home in the workshops of Rajasthan and Bengal alike, where silversmiths learn early that restraint is its own form of ornament. Sterling, at its core a 92.5 parts silver alloy, holds form with a precision that allows the motif here to read cleanly: the silhouette is measured and considered, shaped to hang at a gentle two inches, or approximately five centimetres, from the lobe. At just four grams the pair, the weight is almost conversational, neither demanding nor absent. The finish is bright and un-lacquered in the manner of honest silverwork, and the closure is practical enough for daily wear without interrupting the earring's quiet authority.
