Description

There are nights when the moon slips behind a thin cloud and the light turns soft, diffuse, and quietly extraordinary. This bracelet captures exactly that quality. Formed in sterling silver, it is built around a succession of tear-drop moonstones, each one set to catch and hold the adularescent glow that makes this stone so prized in traditional Indian jewellery. The silver itself is worked to a restrained finish, the settings hugging each stone cleanly without ornament that would compete. Moonstone has long been beloved in South Indian craft traditions, where it appears alongside oxidised silver in pieces made for women who want presence without volume. Here, the approach is quieter still: the tear-drop silhouette does all the speaking, the stone's blue-white shimmer doing the rest. At thirty grams, the bracelet has real substance on the wrist. Wear it over a fine ivory cotton kurta for a morning that calls for understated grace, the silver cool against warm skin. For evening, layer it against a silk sari in deep teal or midnight blue and let the moonstone's inner glow answer the light. The bracelet measures nine inches in length (approximately 22.9 cm), offering a free size fit that sits comfortably on most wrists with a gentle drape. Sterling silver at this weight wears well day to day and polishes easily back to its original lustre with a soft cloth.
