Description

There is a quiet confidence in a stone that holds twilight within it. Tanzanite, found only in the shadow of Kilimanjaro, carries that rare trichroic shimmer: violet, blue, indigo, all at once, depending on the light that finds it. Here, faceted tanzanite is set alongside cubic zirconia in sterling silver, the metal worked into a soft, curved silhouette that tapers gently at its length. The faceted cuts are precise and deliberate, each face angled to catch and return light without drama. At just four grams, the piece sits with the kind of weightlessness that marks considered silversmithing. The form owes nothing to excess: no filigree, no embellishment beyond what the stone demands. It is contemporary work, rooted in the clean restraint that skilled silver craftsmen across Jaipur's export ateliers have long understood. These earrings move easily between occasions. Wear them against a silk dupatta in dusty rose for an evening gathering, where the violet-blue of the tanzanite deepens under warm light. Or pair them with a crisp white linen kurta for an afternoon meeting, where their quiet gleam reads as effortless and understated. Each earring measures approximately 0.75 inches in height and 0.25 inches in width, which is roughly 1.9 centimetres by 0.6 centimetres, a scale that suits all ear sizes without overwhelming a delicate lobe. The sterling silver finish is cool and clean, and the standard closure keeps them secure through a full day's wear.
