Description

There are brides who wear their adornment quietly, and then there are brides who wear it like a declaration. This ruby-pink Kundan choker set belongs to the Jaipur tradition of flat-foiled stone setting, where thin wafers of glass or semi-precious material are pressed into lac-filled gold-toned frames and outlined with polished Kundan borders to create that signature luminous depth. Here, the choker spreads a full six and a half inches wide (approximately 16.5 cm) across the collarbone, its surface alive with tessellated Kundan florals set in warm brass. Crimson and blush tones pool in each cell, separated by fine white Kundan accents. The matching teardrop danglers, two inches tall (approximately 5 cm) by one inch wide (approximately 2.5 cm), echo the same floral grammar. The maang tikka, nearly five inches long (approximately 12.4 cm), descends in a single pendant drop, framing the centre parting with unhurried elegance. At one hundred and fifty-seven grams, the set has the satisfying substance of serious craft. Pair this with a deep-ruby Benarasi tissue lehenga for a sangeet or a mehendi evening. For a post-wedding reception, it reads with equal authority over an ivory raw-silk kurta with a heavily embroidered border. The choker fastens with an adjustable dori, accommodating most neck sizes without alteration. Brass construction keeps the set resilient against daily humidity. Store wrapped in soft muslin to preserve the Kundan foil's reflective finish.
