Description

There are courts that never quite dissolved, and this necklace carries the memory of them. Worked in brass and finished to echo the grandeur of Rajasthani Kundan ateliers, this bridal statement set is built around flat-set, foil-backed Kundan stones in a deep, commanding green. The necklace descends a full four and a half inches (approximately 11.4 cm) from the base of the chain, its layered floral and geometric panels arranged in the stepped silhouette favoured by Jaipur craftsmen who compose in colour as much as in gold. Each element is hand-set, the stones pressed flush against their gold-toned collet beds so that the light moves across the surface in the manner of old Mughal portraiture. The earrings, measuring one and a half inches tall by one inch wide (approximately 3.8 cm by 2.5 cm), echo the necklace's chandelier geometry at a quieter scale. The full set weighs eighty grams, a presence that reads as ceremonial without being burdensome. Pair this with a deep red or ivory Banarasi bridal lehenga where the green Kundan anchors the colour story. It works equally well over an embroidered silk anarkali for a mehendi or sangeet, where the formality of the set elevates the occasion without overpowering it. The necklace extends to sixteen inches on an adjustable chain, sitting comfortably at the collarbone on most builds. The brass base keeps the weight manageable.
