Description

There is a quality of late-evening light that moonstone holds and refuses to return. This bracelet is composed of rectangle-cut rainbow moonstones set in a line along a sterling silver band, each stone held in a clean, open bezel that lets the adularescence breathe without interference. Rainbow moonstone, prized for the blue-white sheen that shifts across its surface like a veil being drawn, is here given a setting of deliberate simplicity: no filigree, no granulation, no ornamental distraction. The sterling silver itself carries a quiet polish, the cool grey of the metal reading as a considered counterpoint to the stones' milky luminescence. This is not a tradition of Kundan or Jadau, but of the quieter silversmithing sensibility that prizes restraint: the stone as the sole argument, the craft merely its frame.
