Description

There are blooms that do not wilt, and this set carries several of them. Worked in brass and finished to a cool, silvered lustre, the Purple Crystal Floral Necklace and Earrings Set draws on a long Indian tradition of floral motif jewellery, cousins to the polki and kundan florals that Jaipur ateliers have refined over centuries, though here rendered in an accessible costume vocabulary. Each petal-shaped element is set with faceted American diamonds, their white brilliance framing clusters of deep purple crystals at the centre. The palette is offered in two moods: a saturated purple and a softer pink-purple, both carrying the same violet depth that catches indoor candlelight and evening sun alike. The necklace measures nine inches (approximately 22.9 cm) across an adjustable chain, allowing the floral clusters to sit precisely at the collarbone. The drop earrings measure 1.7 inches (approximately 4.3 cm) in height and 0.5 inches (approximately 1.3 cm) in width, a slender proportion that adds length without weight.
