Description

This Polki necklace set speaks the grammar of Rajasthani bazaar jewellery at its most celebratory: uncut stones held in brass with the characteristic open-backed setting that lets light fall straight through each facet, replicating the effect of the finest Polki work at an accessible weight. The broad collar spans a generous 7.3 inches (approximately 18.5 cm) in width, its surface crowded with geometric and floral arrangements punctuated by deep blue stone detailing that recalls the indigo tonalities beloved in Jaipur ateliers. The maang tikka, rising 4.5 inches (approximately 11.4 cm) with a slender 0.9-inch (approximately 2.3 cm) width, falls cleanly along the centre parting without overwhelming the forehead. Earrings measuring 2.4 inches (approximately 6.1 cm) in height complete the set, the three pieces forming a coherent visual language.
