Description

There are silhouettes that do not merely accessorise but narrate. This layered necklace set draws from the Polki tradition, wherein uncut stones are set face-forward in a foiled base to catch light the way still water catches the sky. Here, that vocabulary is rendered in brass, a metal long favoured by craftsmen in Rajasthan for its warmth and its willingness to hold intricate settings without apology. The necklace layers sit in graduated planes, each strand building upon the last to create a composition that reads as both abundant and considered. The drop earrings, measuring approximately 4.3 cm in height and 1.5 cm in width, echo the necklace's grammar precisely, repeating the Polki-studded motif at a smaller, more intimate scale. The full set weighs 80 grams, a presence that confirms craft rather than costume. Three colourways are offered, green, mint and red, each shifting the mood of the stone inlay from verdant ceremony to cool restraint to festive warmth.
