Description

Polki that catches light the way a monsoon puddle catches sky. This dual-layered necklace set belongs to the long lineage of Rajasthani uncut-stone jewellery, where Polki settings are built not to dazzle aggressively but to glow with an interior warmth. The brass base, worked and finished to carry the weight of each uncut stone, supports two tiers of studded Polki that sit close to the collarbone and fan outward with quiet confidence. Brass has been the honest foundation of Jaipur's more accessible Polki tradition for generations, allowing karigars to bring the visual language of court jewellery within reach without sacrificing the handset, stone-by-stone intention that makes Polki recognisable. The matching earrings, each measuring approximately 7.4 cm in height and 1.5 cm in width, carry the same layered grammar downward from the ear. Wear the necklace, which sits on an adjustable dori of around 23 cm, with a silk chanderi kurta for a festival lunch, or let it anchor the neckline of a georgette saree blouse at a mehendi evening.
