Description

Worn close to the throat, this set carries the unhurried grammar of a court jeweller's atelier. The choker spans a generous 5.7 inches (approximately 14.5 cm) in width and sits at a shallow 1 inch (approximately 2.5 cm) in height, a proportion that lets it lie flat and commanding across the collarbone. Uncut Polki stones, set in their characteristic raw, flat-faceted form, are mounted across the choker's surface in a dense, repeating composition that catches light without chasing it. The earrings echo the same vocabulary, extending the Polki setting downward in a silhouette that frames the jaw cleanly. The base is brass, worked to hold the stones with the same patience one associates with Rajasthani silver-smithing traditions, where the metal is treated not as a shortcut but as a structural choice in its own right. The overall weight of the set is 52 grams, substantial enough to feel considered when worn. Pair the set over a raw-silk kurta in ivory or deep rust for a festive lunch, or layer it against the low neckline of a silk-velvet blouse at a winter wedding, where the Polki's matte luminescence reads especially well under warm indoor light. The free-size choker is suited to most adult neck measurements. Brass construction keeps the set resilient through repeated wear; the stones are set securely enough to travel without anxiety, making this a reliable choice for a woman who dresses with intention.
