Description

Blush meets brilliance in a choker that remembers Jaipur. The centrepiece of this set is a graduated Kundan choker, its brass base layered with flat-foil-set stones in a warm blush pink, each teardrop unit framed by the tight, wax-backed Kundan technique that Jaipur's karigar quarters have refined over centuries. The teardrops fall in a gentle cascade, their faceted surfaces catching light the way a monsoon sky catches the last of the evening. A matching pair of drop earrings, measuring nearly seven and a half centimetres in height and just over two and a half centimetres in width (2.95 x 1.05 inches), repeat the motif in miniature, extending the line of the jaw with quiet authority. The entire set weighs 120 grams, substantial enough to feel considered on the body. Brass, here, is not a compromise; it is the traditional substrate for fine Kundan work, lending warmth and depth to the rose-toned stones.
