Description
There are mornings when a bride's trousseau should feel like a garden in full bloom. This set channels the floral vocabulary of Jaipur's Kundan ateliers, where craftsmen press glass-backed foil inlay into shaped copper bezels to achieve that luminous, pooled-colour effect that no gemstone can quite replicate. The motif here is petal upon layered petal, each bloom set in flat Kundan work and rendered in soft rose and blush tones that give the collection its pink identity. The necklace spans a generous width of approximately sixteen and a half centimetres across its broadest point, worn on an adjustable dori that sits comfortably at the collarbone or draws lower for a deeper neckline. Bead tassels hang from both the necklace hem and the earrings, swaying with the particular life that only hand-knotted strands carry. The earrings measure roughly eleven and a half centimetres in drop by under four centimetres wide. A maang tikka, nearly sixteen centimetres in length, completes the parure. The full set weighs two hundred and forty-four grams, substantial without being punishing. For a bridal lehenga in ivory or deep red, the pink blooms hold their own with quiet authority. At a mehendi or sangeet, this set lifts a simple anarkali into something ceremonial and considered. The copper base keeps the weight distributed evenly. The adjustable dori means no alteration is needed across different necklines. The Kundan inlay, when stored away from moisture, retains its lustre for years of careful wearing.
