Description

There are stones that hold weather inside them, and labradorite is chief among them. Each pear-shaped cabochon in this bracelet has been faceted to coax out the stone's signature labrescence: that cold interior fire of blue, green and gold that shifts as the wrist moves. The setting is sterling silver, worked to hold every teardrop-form stone in a clean bezel or prong cradle that lets the flash speak without distraction. Sterling silver at this weight, 11.4 grams across an 8-inch length (approximately 20.3 cm), carries the substantiality of considered silversmithing traditions, closer in spirit to the restrained workshop output of Rajasthan and Bengal than to anything mass-produced.
