Description
There are silhouettes that do not ask for attention; they simply command it. Worked in brass and finished in the classical Kundan manner, this bridal choker traces its sensibility to the ateliers of Jaipur, where flat-set stones are pressed into gold-toned foil beds with a precision that has not changed in centuries. The pastel stones, arranged in repeating floral and geometric units across a broad five-and-a-half-inch spread, read as restrained rather than riotous: blush, mint and ivory held in place by raised Kundan bezels that catch candlelight without demanding it. The matching earrings, nearly three inches tall and just under two inches wide, carry the same floral vocabulary downward in a graduated drop, linked by a delicate chain that moves with the wearer. Together they form a parure in the most considered sense of that word. Wear this choker over the deep neckline of a raw-silk anarkali in ivory or champagne, letting the pastel stones echo the fabric's own quiet lustre. It sits equally well at a mehendi ceremony against a mustard or sage georgette lehenga, where the brass ground warms every colour around it. The choker fastens with an adjustable dori, so it sits comfortably across a range of neck sizes at roughly nine centimetres in length. The earrings measure approximately six-point-nine centimetres in height. The full set is also available as individual accessories: hairband, hathphool, maang tikka and nosering, each scaled to the same palette.
