Description
There is a particular stillness to colours that do not shout. This bracelet belongs to the Jaipur tradition of Meenakari, where master craftsmen press pigment into engraved brass and fire it to a luminous, enamel-like surface. Here, that language is softened into pastels: a choice of cool sage green or hushed mint, both applied in the spirit of the craft's quieter registers. Flat-set Kundan glass stones, held in the characteristic foiled-brass collet, catch light across the face of the bracelet in a repeat floral or geometric pattern, as is characteristic of Rajasthani workshop production. The brass base, weighing a clean 23 grams, is shaped into a bangle form with an openable hinge closure, making it practical without sacrificing the aesthetic of an unbroken band. The inner diameter spans 1.8 inches (approximately 4.6 cm) in width, with a height of 0.7 inches (approximately 1.8 cm), giving it a medium presence on the wrist. Wear the green colourway against an ivory or ecru chanderi kurta for daytime gatherings, where its earthy restraint feels entirely at home. The mint variant sits beautifully against blush or powder-blue tissue silk at a summer festive occasion, adding Meenakari colour without competing with heavier jewellery. The hinged opening means no struggling at the wrist: slip it on, close it, and it holds flush. A single free size fits most adult wrists comfortably, and the sealed enamel surface requires only a soft, dry cloth to maintain.
