Description

Padmavati herself might have worn something precisely this commanding. The choker takes its name and its spirit from the lotus goddess, and every element of this set honours that lineage. At five and a quarter inches in height (roughly 13.3 cm), the necklace rises like a framed devotional panel, its alloy base layered with multi-stone studding in the manner of Rajput court jewellery. The stones are set in tight, luminous clusters across a broad, structured bib, the colour palette reading as richly as Meenakari work from Jaipur's old city lanes without the enamel itself. The matched drop earrings, four and a half inches tall and one point seven inches wide (approximately 11.4 cm by 4.3 cm), descend in graduated tiers, elongating the face as chandelier forms do in classical temple and Jadau traditions. The entire set weighs a substantial 370 grams, and that weight is felt in the satisfying, settled way of proper ceremonial adornment. Wear this set against the deep silk of a Banarasi tissue sari for a sangeet night when you want presence without effort. It is equally compelling over a velvet blouse with a heavily embroidered lehenga at a winter wedding. The choker is offered in free size, sitting close to the collarbone as all true choker forms should. The alloy construction keeps the set lighter in spirit than solid gold while holding its structure impeccably through long evening hours.
