Description

There are syllables older than language, and one of them curves around this wrist. The Om symbol has anchored devotional metalwork across India for centuries, appearing on temple thresholds, ritual vessels and the adornments of pilgrims. Here, it is rendered in copper alloy, a material long favoured by artisans working in devotional and folk traditions precisely because copper carries warmth, both literal and spiritual. The alloy lends the bracelet a burnished, earthy tone, neither the cold brightness of silver nor the opulence of gold, but something quietly grounding. At 29 grams, the piece sits with genuine presence on the wrist. The Om motif itself rises to a height of 0.6 inches (approximately 1.5 cm), compact enough to be legible without demanding attention. The adjustable free-size construction speaks to a practical generosity, the kind of detail a craftsperson builds in knowing the piece will travel and be worn daily. Pair it with a hand-block-printed kurta and raw cotton trousers for a morning walk or a meditation session. It reads equally well against the silk sleeve of a salwar at a festive lunch, where its restrained tone complements rather than competes. The bracelet adjusts to fit most wrists without tools, making it effortless to size and remove. The copper alloy finish requires only occasional gentle wiping to maintain its warm depth. At this weight and dimension, it is quiet enough for daily wear and purposeful enough to mean something.
