Description

There are pieces that carry the weight of devotion in their geometry. This brass necklace set draws on the vocabulary of temple jewellery, where repetition and symmetry are not decorative choices but acts of faith. The pendant, measuring approximately 1.05 inches (2.67 cm) in height and 0.75 inches (1.91 cm) in width, is anchored by a central motif framed in close-set stonework, its surface finished in an antique gold tone that gives the brass the warm patina of heirloom silver. The matching earrings, at 1.95 inches (4.95 cm) in height and 0.70 inches (1.78 cm) in width, mirror the pendant's proportion without overpowering it. The entire set weighs 70 grams and closes with an adjustable dori, allowing the pendant to sit at a length of up to 5.9 inches (14.99 cm) from the topmost point of the chain. Worn against a deep-bordered Kanjivaram for a festival puja, the antique-toned brass reads as something retrieved from a trousseau rather than bought new. At a daytime mehendi, paired with ivory or saffron georgette, its restrained scale keeps the look grounded and intentional.
