Description

There are gardens that bloom only in enamel fire, and this necklace set carries one such garden at its throat. The pendant is shaped as a full-face flower, its petals filled with Meenakari enamel in the layered, opaque tradition most associated with the workshops of Jaipur, where artisans grind mineral pigments into brass before firing each colour in sequence. Multicoloured stone beads thread the necklace chain, thirteen inches in length, pulling the palette from the pendant outward into a garland-like sweep. The earrings, measuring four and a half centimetres in height and just under one centimetre in width, repeat the floral motif in miniature, keeping the silhouette slender and drop-shaped rather than chandelier-heavy. Brass provides the base throughout, giving the piece a warm, slightly antique undertone beneath the enamel surface. The set weighs one hundred and eight grams in total, substantial enough to feel intentional without becoming effortful. Pair it with a block-printed mul cotton kurta in ivory or indigo for a daytime cultural event, letting the enamel colours carry the ornament. For a festive occasion, layer it against a hand-woven chanderi blouse in deep plum, and the floral pendant becomes the room's quietest conversation.
