This choker and earring set is worked in sterling silver, its most distinctive gesture being the cascade of teardrop stones that fall across multiple strands of the necklace in layered formation. The choker sits close at ten inches (approximately 25.4 cm), the strands gathering weight and movement in equal measure. Each teardrop stone is held within a fine silver setting, and the overall effect recalls the stone-studded silver traditions of Rajasthan, where artisans have long understood that repetition itself is a form of ornament.
