Description

There are earrings that do not ask to be noticed, and yet they command the room. This bunch earring in sterling silver brings together a curated cascade of faceted gemstones in a palette that shifts between rich multi-colour and the cooler wash of rainbow tones. The cluster silhouette draws loosely from the tradition of gemstone-set chandelier work long practised by Jaipur's silver karigar community, where coloured stones are gathered in close formation to create the impression of abundance without heaviness. Each stone is set in a simple bezel or prong hold within the silver mount, allowing the natural variation of colour to do its work. The piece weighs ten grams and measures two point two inches, roughly five point six centimetres, in height for the multi and standard colourways, and one point five inches, approximately three point eight centimetres, for the rainbow variant. Worn with a hand-block-printed cotton kurta at a festive afternoon gathering, these earrings read as confident and considered.
