Masonite, a compressed mineral composite prized in craft jewellery for its dense, stone-like weight and smooth surface, sits at the centre of each element in this brass set. The necklace and earrings share a unified vocabulary: cabochon-style masonite stones set in close brass mounts, their surfaces catching light with the quiet depth of polished river rock rather than the flash of faceted gems. The brass itself has been finished to a warm, antique-adjacent tone that recalls the workshop traditions of Rajasthan, where base-metal craft has long carried its own dignity alongside the gold and silver of grander jewellery. Each earring stands just under five centimetres tall and roughly 1.8 centimetres wide (1.90 inches by 0.70 inches), while the necklace sits at approximately 32 centimetres (12.75 inches) with an adjustable chain that allows placement at the collarbone or just below.
