Description

A treasury for the collector who knows that five stones tell five different stories. Each set in this lot pairs a pendant with matching drop earrings, crafted entirely in sterling silver by hands familiar with the lapidary traditions of Rajasthan. Shell, carnelian, rose quartz, rainbow moonstone and tiger eye are chosen not for spectacle but for the quiet conversation they hold with one another: the warm amber of the tiger eye answering the blush of the rose quartz, the opalescent flicker of the moonstone cooling against the deep terra-cotta of the carnelian, and the creamy neutrality of shell anchoring everything. At an average pendant height of approximately six centimetres and earring height of roughly six-and-a-half centimetres, each piece carries genuine presence without theatricality. The total set weighs one hundred and fifty-eight grams, evidence of solid silver work rather than hollow casting. Worn individually, a single carnelian pendant and its matching earrings suit a handloom linen kurta at a daytime cultural gathering, warm and unhurried.
