Description
There are rooms where candlelight does the talking, and this is the set you wear into them. Rooted in the Kundan tradition that flourished in the ateliers of Jaipur and the Mughal-era courts that inspired them, this necklace and earrings set carries the essential grammar of that craft: flat-set stones pressed flush against a foiled brass base, each piece held in place not by prongs but by refined Kundan borders of worked metal. The pendant, measuring 1.4 inches (roughly 3.6 cm) in height and 1.1 inches (roughly 2.8 cm) in width, is balanced by drop earrings that fall to 2.8 inches (approximately 7.1 cm), wide enough at 1 inch (roughly 2.5 cm) to carry the full weight of their pearl detailing with composure. Pearl accents soften the geometry of the stone-set centres, lending the multi-coloured version a festival luminosity and the red colourway a more focused, bridal warmth. The brass base keeps the full set at a considered 107 grams, distributed evenly across necklace and ears. Wear the red colourway with an ivory silk kurta for a sangeet, or take the multi against a deep teal Benarasi sari for a winter wedding reception. Both colourways read equally well under artificial and natural light. The necklace closes with an adjustable dori at 9 inches, accommodating a range of necklines and fits without alteration. The set is free size and requires no specialist care beyond gentle storage.
