Description

There are brides whose ornaments tell a story before they speak a word. This choker set draws on the Polki tradition that flourished in the ateliers of Rajasthan, where artisans learned to lay uncut, flat-foiled stones into close settings so that the jewel reads as a single luminous field rather than a scattering of individual gems. Here, vivid green Polki stones are studded across a broad brass base, the surface worked into a structured, layered choker that spans five inches (12.7 cm) in width and sits with a confident architectural weight. The matching earrings, slender at 0.6 inches (1.5 cm) wide and 3.7 inches (9.4 cm) long, descend in a line that echoes the vertical rhythm of the necklace. The maang tikka, 4 inches (10.2 cm) in length, completes the bridal trinity. Pink is also offered for those who prefer warmth over verdure. Wear the full set with a deep-toned silk Banarasi lehenga in ivory or forest green for a wedding ceremony. For a more edited occasion such as a mehendi or a reception, the earrings and tikka alone pair beautifully with a silk kurta in ivory or champagne. The necklace fastens with an adjustable dori, accommodating most necklines without alteration. The complete set weighs 259 grams, substantial enough to register as ceremonial yet balanced across the three pieces when worn together. Brass as a base lends durability appropriate to long bridal hours.
