Description

There are necklaces that announce an entrance, and this is one of them. The Rajwadi Raani Haar is a form rooted in the courtly jewellery traditions of Rajasthan, where abundance was itself a statement of grace. This piece honours that lineage through multiple strands of deep green beads, layered in the generous, cascading manner that the Raani Haar silhouette demands. The brass base is worked and finished to carry a warm, antique-toned glow, framing pendant drops and floral or foliate motifs that recall the ornamental vocabulary of Jaipur's bazaar ateliers. Green, the colour of emerald-adjacent aspiration in Indian adornment, runs through every strand, grounding the piece in a palette that reads as both celebratory and composed. At approximately 179 grams, the weight is present and intentional, the kind that reminds a wearer she is adorned rather than merely decorated. Pair it over a deep-bordered silk saree for a shaadi or sangeet, where the necklace holds its own against rich weave and heavy zari. It works equally well over an embroidered anarkali in ivory or mustard, where the green becomes the defining note of the entire ensemble. The necklace measures approximately 23.4 inches (59.4 cm) along its full length and closes with an adjustable dori, allowing the drape to sit precisely at the collarbone or fall lower depending on the neckline chosen. One size fits all proportions comfortably.
